Romalarjewelry FAQ
Product Quality & Craftsmanship
At Romalarjewelry, each ring is crafted using a combination of precision technology and skilled hand-finishing. Key stages such as stone setting, polishing, and final inspection are performed by experienced artisans to ensure accuracy, comfort, and lasting quality.
Every ring is made from scratch based on your specific order details, guaranteeing a truly unique piece just for you.
At romalarjewelry, all rings are crafted from solid base metals, including 925 sterling silver, 10K, 14K, and 18K gold, as well as platinum.
When you choose a different ring color—such as yellow gold, white gold, or rose gold—we apply a high-quality plating to achieve the desired finish.
- For example, a silver-tone ring selected in gold color will be gold-plated.
- A gold ring selected in silver tone will be plated accordingly.
This allows greater design flexibility while maintaining durability and appearance. Platinum rings are not plated, as platinum naturally maintains its color.
Romalarjewelry works with both natural and lab-grown gemstones, including moissanite and lab-grown diamonds, as well as carefully selected natural gemstones. All stones are chosen for their clarity, durability, and suitability for everyday wear, ensuring long-lasting brilliance and quality.
Stone security is a key focus at romalarjewelry. We use reinforced setting techniques and adjust each setting based on the ring’s metal type and design. Compared to standard settings, our craftsmanship helps reduce the risk of stones loosening or falling out during regular wear
With proper care, gemstones and precious metals retain their beauty for many years. Over time, metals may develop natural surface marks from daily wear, and plated finishes may gradually soften. Regular cleaning and occasional maintenance can help preserve shine and overall appearance.
Beyond materials and design, we focus on precision setting, smooth finishing, and balanced structure. Combined with our quality control process and aftercare support, this ensures your ring remains secure and beautiful over time.
Customization & Sizing
Yes. At Romalarjewelry, we offer customization options including metal type, gemstone selection, setting style, and engraving. Each ring can be tailored to your personal taste while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship.
If you don’t find a ring style you love, or want a design that’s uniquely yours, you can contact us. At Romalarjewelry, we can create a fully custom ring from scratch, crafted just for you.
Ring size depends on your finger circumference. We provide US sizes 3–12 and recommend measuring your finger at room temperature, ideally in the evening when fingers are slightly larger. For guidance, refer to our Ring Size Guide.
You can modify any details of your ring within 8 hours after purchase for free, as long as the changes don’t affect the final price. After 8 hours, modifications will incur a 20% fee of the order amount, plus any price difference caused by design updates.
Yes! You can choose custom text, emojis, or simple designs to be engraved on your ring. If your text or design is more complex, please send it to us as an image. We will evaluate its feasibility for engraving before production.
Customized rings are made-to-order, typically requiring 10–20 business days for production, depending on the complexity of the design and gemstone availability. You will receive an estimated delivery date upon order confirmation.
Metals & Materials
Romalarjewelry rings are crafted using high-quality metals, including 925 sterling silver, 10K, 14K, and 18K solid gold, as well as platinum (silver-toned). Each metal option is carefully selected to balance beauty, durability, and everyday comfort.
Our rings are made from solid base metals such as sterling silver or solid gold. Depending on the color you choose—gold, silver, or rose gold—electroplating may be applied to achieve the desired finish.
For example, a silver-toned ring can be gold or rose-gold plated, while a gold-toned ring can be plated with silver and rose-gold finish if requested. Platinum is not plated. All plating is professionally applied for durability and visual consistency.
Yes, gold-plated sterling silver jewelry may gradually show signs of wear over time, which is normal across the jewelry industry.
For example, Sterling silver is naturally white. To achieve a yellow gold appearance, a thin layer of real gold (approximately 0.03 micron) is electroplated onto the silver surface. We also apply an E-coating protective layer to help slow down wear. However, because this plating layer is very thin, it can still wear down with time.
Factors such as skin oils, sweat, cosmetics, chemicals, and daily activities (for example, wearing rings while doing housework) can accelerate the fading of the plating, eventually revealing the natural silver color underneath.
Rhodium-plated silver is a great option if you prefer a silver-tone look, as both silver and rhodium are white, making any color change far less noticeable.
If you want a long-lasting yellow gold color, we recommend choosing solid K gold. Since K gold is naturally yellow, it does not rely on surface plating and will not fade in color over time.
We prioritize skin-friendly materials and avoid harmful substances such as nickel whenever possible. Most customers with sensitive skin find our rings comfortable for daily wear. If you have specific metal sensitivities, we recommend contacting us before placing your order so we can advise the best option.
What is the difference between 10K, 14K, and 18K gold?
The difference lies in gold purity and durability:
10K gold is the most durable and resistant to wear, with a lighter gold tone.
14K gold offers a balance between durability and rich color, making it ideal for everyday jewelry.
18K gold has a deeper, warmer gold tone with higher purity, preferred for fine jewelry but slightly softer.
Yes. All Romalarjewelry designs can be crafted in different metal options, allowing you to choose based on color preference, budget, and lifestyle. Availability may vary depending on the design structure and gemstone setting.
Yes. Harder alloys such as 10K and 14K gold and platinum generally offer better resistance to scratches and deformation. Softer metals like 18K gold provide richer color but may show wear slightly faster over time. We help customers choose the most suitable metal based on how the ring will be worn.
Gemstones FAQ
Romalarjewelry offers a curated selection of 18 gemstones, including Garnet, Amethyst, Aquamarine, Moissanite, Emerald, Alexandrite, Ruby, Peridot, Sapphire, Opal, Citrine, Topaz, Moonstone, Turquoise, Moss Agate, Black Onyx, Black Rutilated Quartz, and Lab-Grown Diamond. Each gemstone is carefully selected for beauty, durability, and suitability for fine jewelry.
We offer both natural and lab-grown gemstones. Natural gemstones are sourced from trusted suppliers, while lab-grown stones—such as moissanite and lab-grown diamonds—are created under controlled conditions to achieve exceptional clarity and brilliance.
Yes. Natural gemstones may show slight variations in color, pattern, or inclusions, which are part of their unique character. Stones such as Moss Agate, Opal, and Turquoise are especially known for natural variations, making each ring one of a kind.
Gemstones themselves do not lose brilliance naturally. However, surface buildup from daily wear can reduce sparkle. Regular gentle cleaning and proper storage will help maintain the gemstone’s original shine.
Yes. All gemstones are set by experienced artisans using appropriate setting techniques—such as prong, halo, or bezel settings—based on the gemstone type and design. Each ring undergoes a final inspection to ensure the stone is secure before shipment.
If a gemstone becomes loose or falls out, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible.
